His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, received at his office at the Diwan of the Emirate today, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the East Gas Company Ghodran bin Saeed Ghodran, and a number of employees of the company.

During the meeting, His Highness stressed the need to work to enhance the concept of safety in dealing with natural gas, and to ensure that the company and others must comply with safety instructions.

He pointed to the importance of partnership between the public and private sectors in achieving economic and its diversification to point out the support given by the state to the industrial sector to be an effective contributor to the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

For his part, Chairman of the Board of Directors of East Gas Company Ghodran bin Saeed Ghodran said that the company with the support of the industrial sector from the wise Government succeeded during its ten years in reaching a daily distribution capacity exceeding 30 million cubic feet including investments reached to 130 million Saudi riyal. The company is currently working in the business sector and is considering future expansion of the residential sector and individuals along with developments in the market.

Ghodran affirmed the keenness of His Highness the Amir of the Eastern Province and his constant follow-up on compliance with safety instructions, and guidelines to deal with accidents and risks.

The CEO Eng. Saeed Jaber Al-Faya said that the company is working with more than 40 factories in the eastern region, providing them with energy through natural gas products.
